[TUTORIAL] How to post a message on EXO's official fanboard

As you may all know that you can write messages to EXO on the fanboard, everybody might know how to do it already, but I'll still make this in order to help people who is still new to this fandom, so if you already know then you may ignore this post :).



Before you can write on the fanboard you need to register in either EXO K or EXO M website, so I'll do some tutorial to show people how to register.

How To Register

1. So go to EXO's official website: EXO-K || EXO-M2. (The link is provided below)

NOTE; to make it easier for you, you could change the language of the website to 'English' which you can do this by go down at the bottom right hand side of the page and click "English"


2. So now once you've changed the language to english it should be easy to read the content on the website....So now Go to the bottom of the page at the left hand side, and click on "sign up"


4. Click the big pink button that says 'MUSIC NATION SMTOWN' and you will be directed to this SMTOWN link. https://membership.smtown.com/User/Smtown


5.  Click the FOREIGNER Foreigners living outside Korea and you will be directed to the registration form.


6. Fill up the registration/membership form. (After typing your email, check if it's available by clicking the button next to the box you just typed in.then a popup box should appear and if it says "사용하셔도 좋은 이에일 입니다" then it's available. If not, you'll see this(see green)입력하신 이메일(아이디)는 이미 사용중입니다)


7. SMTOWN asks for verification so check your e-mail. There will be a message from SMTOWN and click the link they'll give you.

8. And then you are now registered.

Posting Your Own Message:

1. Okay so firstly on the homepage click on 'Fanboard' which is on the right hand side at the top.


2. Click the button with a pen symbol with it. (If you changed the webpage to English it should say 'Write' with a pen symbol next to it.)


3. Fill in the boxes with the title of your message, and the content. Then click the 'OK' box/ Button.


4. And you're DONE!

How to Find Out if an EXO member Replies to your Message:

1. There will be a drop-down arrow below the fanboard. Click the 3rd content which says '작성자' (it means Writer)

선택: Select
제목: Subject
작성자: Writer
내용: Content

2. Type in the member's name (SUHO, BAEK HYUN, CHANYEOL, D.O., KAI, SEHUN, KRIS, LUHAN, XIUMIN, LAY, CHEN, TAO) or your own username. The member's name is in bold type by the way!. And then click 'Search'


3. It will have a pink arrow below/beside your post, if an EXO member replied to you.

(Because SMTOWN have updated the website so the replies that baekhyun sent to them are not there, so I've took this screenshot from codeexo)

NOTE: IF YOU WANT TO POST A MESSAGE OR TO FIND EXO'S REPLIES MAKE SURE YOU ARE ON THE KOREAN VERSION! YOU CAN ONLY FIND THEM ON KOREAN VERSION :)
